Panel to workshop RSC-2 zoning and height for land development code on Jan. 7
Members of the Captiva Community Panel will meet at South Seas Island Resort on Thursday, Jan. 7 at 9 a.m. to discuss RSC-2 zoning and height restrictions for the Captiva land development code.
This is the third workshop session to be held.
During the regular panel meeting in October, panel member Mike Kelly said that he was hoping to have a final draft ready to submit to Lee County by February. These workshop sessions are designed to allow members of the community to offer input about various sections of the exisiting land development code.
At last month’s regular panel meeting, Max Forgey of Morris-Depew Associates presented a variety of possible options pertaining to height restrictions and RSC-2 zoning language and asked attendees and panel members to review the options and formulate feedback for the workshop session.
Residents that are interested in learning more about height restrictions and RSC-2 zoning language should plan to attend the workshop session on Jan. 7.
Until then, questions can be sent to Max Forgey at mforgey@m-ad.com.
The workshop session for height restrictions and RSC-2 zoning will be held in one of the Alphabet Cone Room at South Seas Island Resort, 5400 Plantation Road.
