Weight room to be closed Thursday
The weight room at the Sanibel Recreation Center will be closed throughout the day on Thursday, Aug. 6 for the installation of additional cardio equipment at the facility.
In order to accommodate users, eight new pieces of Cybex cardio equipment will be added to the Rec Center’s weight room. Four treadmills, two ellipticals and two steppers will be added to the existing pieces of equipment.
Due to the arrival and set-up of the new equipment, the weight room will be closed to the public from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. The weight room will re-open on Friday, Aug. 7 at 6:30 a.m.
