Reynolds appointed to WRAC
Sanibel resident Paul Reynolds has been recommended by South Florida Water Management District Governing Board member Charles Dauray to be appointed to the WRAC Lake Okeechobee Committee for a two-year term, which began on May 11.
SFWMD Governing Board member Melissa Meeker, Chair of the WRAC Lake Okeechobee Committee, confirmed that action on Monday.
The WRAC is a 46-member stakeholder advisory body to the SFWMD Governing Board and provides recommendations about water resource and water supply issues and improving ecosystem restoration efforts throughout the 16 counties of the SFWMD. The Lake Okeechobee Committee meets quarterly and provides similar functions regarding the Lake Okeechobee and Caloosahatchee and St. Lucie estuaries watersheds.
