City Hall announces holiday schedule
Sanibel City Hall will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25 and will resume regular office hours on Tuesday, May 26.
Refuse, recycling and vegetation waste collection by Waste Pro scheduled for Memorial Day will be one day later. Therefore, if your normal pick-up day is Monday, your waste will be picked up on Tuesday. The altered schedule will remain in place for the remainder of the week. The normal waste collection schedule will resume on Monday, June 1, 2009.
The City of Sanibel’s Civic/Senior Center will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on May 25 and will resume normal office hours on Tuesday. If you have any questions, call 472-5743.
The Sanibel Recreation Center will operate regular hours on Monday from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you have any questions, call the Rec Center at 472-0345.
In addition, the Rec Center will operate the “Fun Days” program on May 25 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Registration is $20 per child per Fun Day for Recreation Center members and $25 per child for non-members. Pre-registration is preferred for Fun Days. If you have any questions, call the Rec Center at 472-0345.
The After School Recreation Program will not operate on May 25 in observance of Memorial Day and will resume Tuesday, May 26. Registration is now open for the Summer Recreation Program at the Rec Center front desk, 3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road. If you have any questions, call 472-0345.
