‘Summer Day Camp’ registration kicks off Monday

Registration for The City of Sanibel Recreation Department’s “Summer Day Camp” begins at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 27.

“Summer Day Camp” is a traditional 10-week day camp where attendees participate in activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, tennis and a variety of other recreational programs. To contain costs and meet special dietary requirements, attendees bring their own brown bag lunch. Summer Camp is open to children entering grades one through eight and operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For a minimal fee, an “Extended Care Program” is available until 6:30 p.m. Individual weeks are available for purchase during the 10-week period. Discount registration rates are available to Recreation Center members. Scholarships are available to families of program participants based upon financial need.
