Island traffic advisory for Friday and Sunday
Heavy traffic is anticipated along Periwinkle Way from Casa Ybel Road to Tarpon Bay Road this weekend due to the following events:
Sanibel and Captiva Island Lion’s Club pancake breakfast at the Sanibel Community Association, 2173 Periwinkle Way, from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 3.
The Farmer’s Market being held at Tahitian Gardens, 1975 Periwinkle Way, on Sunday, April 5 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Motorists are advised to be alert for pedestrians crossing the roadway in the area of the events and should expect delays. Please plan your travel accordingly.
