Seahorses on sale at Bank of the Islands

The season of giving doesn’t need to be over quite yet.
Bank of the Islands is selling seahorse sculptures for a very good cause the Golisano Children’s Hospital. Each sculpture, which can be painted and decorated by its new owner, costs $30. Checks should be made payable to Golisano Children’s Hospital which will receive 100 percent of the proceeds.
Earlier this year, Bank of the Islands/Edison National Bank signed on as a Gold Sponsor for A Seahorse Dream, a new fundraising project benefitting children’s healthcare in our community.
“These little guys are the smaller version of the big Seahorse Dream Project sculptures”, said Bank of the Islands Vice President and Sanibel Office Manager Rob Lisenbee. “We are donating our big seahorse to The Sanibel School. Having a smaller version in your home or office is a great way to support the hospital our young neighbors sometimes need.”
Bank of the Islands’ Sanibel office is located at 1699 Periwinkle Way, at the corner of Casa Ybel Road, on Sanibel. The Captiva office is at 14812 Captiva Drive, next to the Captiva Post Office. As the oldest locally owned and managed community bank on the islands, Bank of the Islands is proud to be the winner of 26 “Best of the Islands” awards since 1999, including being chosen the Best Island Bank for 15 years straight.
