Uhler & Vertich Social Security workshop offered in Fort Myers
Uhler & Vertich Financial Planners will present “Social Security Unlocked,” Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. The one-hour complimentary workshop will address when to begin collecting Social Security benefits, file-and-suspend options, taxation issues, strategies that can maximize benefits and how taking Social Security early may affect one’s family.
The workshops will be held at the Uhler & Vertich offices at 1510 Royal Palm Square Blvd., Suite 103, one block south of Colonial Blvd. in Fort Myers. Attendance is limited to allow for questions, and reservations are required. Please call 424-9197 to reserve a place.
“The workshop information will be particularly useful to members of the baby-boomer generation, which is approaching retirement,” said firm Principal and Financial Planner Tom Uhler, one of the workshop facilitators. “We provide easy-to-understand information designed to clear up confusion about Social Security issues. We have held similar sessions and found that having accurate knowledge lowers stress levels for those facing retirement, either in the near future or in several years.”
