Above Board Chamber adds panelists to discuss business ethics

The Above Board Chamber of Florida invites everyone to its September Lee County panel discussion meeting, which will investigate “Ethics in Business The Do’s and Don’ts of Running an Ethical Business.” Attendees will hear from some of Florida’s top professors who will participate on the panel to learn what makes an ethical business in this new economy.

The monthly meeting will be on Monday, Sept. 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 12600 University Drive in Fort Myers.

Dr. Douglas Nay, Professor of Management at Edison University, joins this month’s panel of experts including Daniel Fernandez, J.D., Professor of Business Law, FGCU; and Professor JoAnn Ahern, Ethics Instructor, Hodges University.

Also, Christin Collins, Senior Director of Development, Lee Memorial Health System Foundation will share about this month’s featured non-profit organization.

“The Chamber brings together a panel of experts each month who will discuss business topics that will help businesses become better equipped to succeed in today’s economy,” said Jeanne Sweeney, President of the Above Board Chamber.

The cost for “Members” is $15 and “Friends” are just $20, or pay $25 at the door. Members can display information about their business or organization for just $25 while non-profits are invited to set up a presentation table for free.
