Traditions on the Beach wins Best of Southwest Florida Award
Traditions on the Beach, a beachfront casual dining restaurant, bar and lounge on Sanibel, has won the highly acclaimed award for “Best Casual Fine Dining” in Southwest Florida.
The restaurant has been receiving high praise from diners and critics since it opened its doors last December. Traditions on the Beach was the only restaurant on Sanibel and Captiva to receive a Best of Southwest Florida Award this year.
“We’re thrilled that in our first year at our beautiful new beachfront location, we’ve won this prestigious award,” says Andrea Mucciga, owner and host of Traditions on the Beach.
According to the voters, Andrea and his team have a winning combination of fresh Italian and Mediterranean style cuisine created by Chef Aziz, a warm welcome, nightly live entertainment and impeccable service; all provided within Tradition’s beautiful Gulf front surroundings.
“We are extremely proud of this award, as we have only been open since last December,” Mucciga added. “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of our guests and loyal customers, particularly those who voted for us.”
Mucciga, host of Traditions on the Beach, won Best of Southwest Florida six years in a row for his previous restaurants, Dolce Vita and Riviera. This will be his seventh year on Sanibel wining the “Best of Southwest Florida Award.”
