Shirley and Ovid Richards join RE/MAX of the Islands
Last week, RE/MAX of the Islands announced that Realtors Shirley and Ovid Richards have joined their company. Originally from Barrington, Ill., they have owned a home on Sanibel and have been part time island residents since 1997. Recently, the Richards’ moved to Sanibel and made the island their permanent full time residence.
“Shirley and Ovid have been top Realtors in the Barrington area with RE/MAX since 1987,” said Art Corace, broker/owner of RE/MAX of the Islands. “They have a very large clientele in the Chicago/Barrington area some of whom have already invested in property in our market. Shirley and Ovid Richards have very diverse backgrounds. Shirley holds degrees in music, including post-graduate work at the University of Missouri Conservatory of Music. She worked her way up to sales manager for Pitney Bowes and the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) in the Chicago market.
Ovid holds an MBA from Indiana University. He is a CPA and formerly was an Assistant VP at BancAmerica and Security Pacific. Together, they form the Richards Family Team with 24 years of real estate experience providing top quality service for their clients.
