Shamrock campaign raises funds for Muscular Dystrophy Association

The Bailey’s Center Merchants’ Association (BCMA) raised $1,029 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Southwest Florida by selling shamrocks on St. Patrick’s Day 2011.
The BCMA first participated in the Shamrocks Against Dystrophy campaign in 2009.
Green and gold shamrocks, valued at $1 and $5 respectively, were sold at the participating merchants’ stores and displayed on their windows.
“We couldn’t have raised the money without the generous support of the visitors to Bailey’s Center,” said BCMA President Ken Kasten. “We are always grateful for the opportunity to participate in these events, and on behalf of the merchants, I would like to thank everyone who supported the MDA campaign.”
What your donation will help MDA buy:
