RE/MAX associates Pritchard, Corace earn professional designations
RE/MAX of the Islands recently announced that Janie Pritchard and Dustyn Corace both obtained the Certified Distress Property Expert (CDPE) professional designations from the National Association of Realtors. They both attended two days of intense training on Feb. 28 and March 1. The classes were held at the Cape Coral Association of Realtors office training center, which Corace and Pritchard successfully completed.
Among other topics, the educational requirement course identified the different programs available to property owners wanting to avoid foreclosure who are experiencing a personal and/or financial hardship. Alternatives include federal government programs such as HAFA (Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives Program) and HAMP (Home Affordable Modification Program).
The CDPE course specifically outlined strategies for quickly and effectively getting short sales approved.
