Realtor Jeanne Risher joins RE/MAX of the Islands
RE/MAX of the Islands proudly announced that Jeanne Risher recently joined their company as a Sales Associate.
In 1978, Jeanne graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a business degree majoring in finance. She began her career in marketing for Pepsi Cola in their Miami office. After three years, she was hired by the marketing department of Southern Bell Telephone/AT&T selling telephone and data equipment and services.
In 1985, she accepted a position with JM Family Enterprises/Southeast Toyota (distributor of Toyotas in five southeastern states). Her role as Director of Telecommunications gave her the opportunity to manage a highly selective team of Telecom Engineers, who maintained voice and data communications for the companies’ 3,500 employees, 162 dealerships and corporate offices throughout the U.S.
In 2005, Jeanne and her husband Tom moved to Sanibel. She obtained her real estate license in 2007 and had been with another office until moving to RE/MAX of the Islands.
“We are extremely gratified that Jeanne decided to become an associate at our office,” said RE/MAX broker-owner Art Corace. “She has the credentials, work ethic and experience sought after by all island real estate brokerage firms. Jeanne could have moved anywhere but selected to grow her career with us. She is a perfect fit for our office culture. Jeanne’s clients know she is totally honest and always puts their needs before all else.”
Risher also expresses her artistic talent by working with stained and fused glass for 12 years. She displays and sells her one-of-a-kind glass designs in galleries from Sarasota south to Bonita. When not selling real estate or working on glass creations, you may find Jeanne reading, traveling or joining husband Tom on the beach searching for shells.
