Norris Home Furnishings opens second location on Sanibel
Norris Home Furnishings has opened its second Southwest Florida location with the debut of its Sanibel Island showroom on Periwinkle Way.
The new Norris Home Furnishings location is a 1,600 square-foot showroom on Sanibel’s main thoroughfare. The Sanibel showroom has two full-time designers as well as a showroom manager and other staff.
Norris Home Furnishings in Fort Myers opened in November 2009 and marked the return of the Norris name to the Southwest Florida furniture marketplace. Larry Norris opened his first store in Fort Myers in 1983 and expanded the business to three prominent locations in Fort Myers and Naples before selling the business in 1998.
The opening of the 20,000 square-foot Fort Myers store in 2009 also included a 36,000 square-foot warehouse. The large warehousing capability will provide quick delivery time to customers of both the Fort Myers and Sanibel locations.
