Island Realtors attend national meetings in New Orleans
Real estate professionals from around the country joined Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors President Jim Hall, President-elect Judie Anderson and Realtor member Sarah Ashton in New Orleans, La. from Nov. 4-8. They were attending the 2010 National Association of Realtors Conference & Expo. Approximately 20,000 Realtors and guests were present at the meetings.
During the conference, National Association of Realtors (NAR) 102nd President, Vicki Cox Golder of Tucson, Az. addressed attendees and 2011 NAR President Ron Phipps and Officers were installed. Realtors were provided with information on timely issues such as home ownership, the economy, market conditions, technology and “green” issues and building practices.
The Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors is one of 1,400 local boards and associations of Realtors nationwide that comprise the National Association of Realtors. As the nation’s largest trade association, NAR is “The Voice for Real Estate,” representing over 1.1 million members involved in all aspects of the real estate profession.
