On Monday, Oct. 4, the Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum and Traders will sponsor a “Celebrity Island Dinner.”

The event will be held at Traders, located at 1551 Periwinkle Way, on Sanibel. Four “seatings” will be offered at 6:30, 6:45, 7 and 7:15 p.m. This is an event guaranteed to put the “fun” in fundraiser.

Craig Albert, Ric Base, Karen Bell, Mark Blust, Terry Igo, Friedrich Jaeger, Anne Joffe, John Naumann, Robbie Roepstorff, Dan Schuyler, Sandra Stilwell and Mike Valiquette will serve as the celebrity waiters. What some people will do to assure a good tip is nothing short of amazing!

A dazzling piece of jewelry, donated by Lily & Co., will be raffled off during this special event. Danny Morgan’s Band will provide tropical entertainment.

Joe Archambault has designed an outstanding menu including a choice of a specially selected soup or salad, one of four entrees and desert.

The cost is $45 per person and all proceeds will benefit the Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum. Reservations are required.

Please call Darlene Grossman at 395-2233 to place your reservation.
