Sanibel Deli features expanded menu, hours

1 min read

New York style pizza and mini donuts are some of the new items available at the Sanibel Deli and Coffee Factory starting this week.

The deli located in the Palm Ridge Shopping Plaza has an expanded menu and hours to accommodate growing requests for dinner service, said business owner Jeff Weigel.

The deli will be featuring prepared meals to go as well as daily specials including lasagne, chicken and biscuits and pot roast. New York style pizza is also available as well.

The deli is known as a fun, friendly place to grab coffee, lunch and conversation. Several months ago the Sanibel Deli was given permission by Jimmy Jordan to sell his departed mother Mozella’s island famous tomato pie.

Mozella’s tomato pie, soups, hot and cold sandwiches and a variety of yummy pastries help draw a steady crowd to the eatery on a daily basis.

Hours will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. In December the Sanibel Deli will be closed on Sundays. Sunday hours will vary beginning in January.
