Friday’s Child moving to Periwinkle Place
Friday’s Child announced on Tuesday it will soon relocate to the Periwinkle Place Shopping Center, at 2075 Periwinkle Way. The children’s clothing and toy store will be located in the west center of Periwinkle Place, between Fresh Produce and Toys Ahoy.
The new location opening is scheduled to be completed approximately on Aug. 10. A grand opening celebration is planned for later in summer.
In anticipation of the relocation, Friday’s Child is celebrating with its “You Haul Moving Sale,” in which customers can haul away a 20 percent discount on all regularly-priced in-store merchandise, all available at the store’s current location in The Village Shops, 2340 Periwinkle Way. That includes hip styles and funky fashion for girls and boys, sizes newborn to 12, along with way cool, hard-to-find, creativity- and imagination-building toys and puzzles.
“We’ve been so rewarded with the response we’ve gotten to our Friday’s Child concept we launched last year at Village Shops,” said Milissa Sprecher, founder. “The growth we’ve experienced, both in-store and online, has been outstanding and exceeded our expectations. The opportunity to move to the famous Periwinkle Place, a true shopping destination, was one we couldn’t pass up. We’re grateful for where we’ve been and the support we’ve been given, but extremely excited about where we’re going, too.”
