RE/MAX of the Islands is proud to announce that Brooke Brownyard was their top selling associate in April while Sheila Hammons was named the most productive marketing agent during the same span.

Originally from Long Island, N.Y., Brownyard relocated to Houston, Texas where she was in the insurance business. She moved to Sanibel in 1993 and is a resident in The Dunes. Brownyard became a Realtor in 1996.

“Brooke is off to another good start this year,” said Art Corace, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX of the Islands. “She is very intelligent, hard working and professional. Brooke is very knowledgeable and her clients have confidence in her ability and judgment.”

Hammons, a native of Louisville, Ky., moved to Florida in 1999 and is currently an island resident. She is a member of the island’s Conservation Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors of the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors. In addition, Hammons is a member of their multiple listing system (MLS) committee.

“Sheila joined our firm in October of 2006. Every day since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with her,” added Corace. “Sheila is very organized, has strong work ethic, loves a challenge and is capable of handling any situation. We are proud to have her in our organization.”
