On Monday, The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (C.R.O.W.) announced that they have hired Jennifer Roberts as development director.

In this role, Roberts will be responsible for budgeting, coordinating and analyzing fundraising efforts, including individual and corporate donations and endowments. She will also be responsible for preparing annual marketing plans, budgets and proposals for grants and major fundraising events.

Roberts will also oversee the new Healing Winds Visitor Education Center gift shop, and manage C.R.O.W.’s annual calendar of events.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Jennifer to the C.R.O.W. family,” said Dr. Paul Douglass, CROW board chairman. “With her background and expertise, I am confident Jennifer will help support C.R.O.W.’s mission and help us reach our short- and long-term business goals.”

Roberts has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida and most recently served as director of major gifts for Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota.

C.R.O.W. is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that relies exclusively on philanthropic support from individuals, corporations and foundations. For more information, call 239-472-3644 ext.1 or visit www.crowclinic.org.
