Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors holds installation and awards banquet at Beachview
The Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors, Inc. recently held its Installation and Awards banquet at the Beachview Steakhouse.
FAR District 5 Vice President Gerry Rosenblum installed incoming President Robin Humphrey (VIP Realty Group), President-Elect Jim Hall (VIP Realty Group), Treasurer Jeffery Burns (Royal Shell Preferred Properties), Secretary Judith Anderson (VIP Realty Group), Immediate Past President Diane Stocks (VIP Realty Group) and Directors: Bruce Cochrane (RE/MAX of the Islands), Sheila Hammons (RE/MAX of the Islands), Janie Howland (RE/MAX of the Islands) and Glen Simmons (VIP Realty Group).
Special guests at the banquet were Bonita Springs Estero Association of Realtors Chief Executive Officer Bill Barnes, Naples Area Board of Realtors President Brett Brown, Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors Past President Barbara Chapin, Marco Island Area Association of Realtors Chief Executive Officer Shirley English, Cape Coral Association of Realtors President Paula Hellenbrand, Realtor Association of Greater Ft. Myers & The Beach Chief Executive Officer Peggy Hummel, Marco Island Area Association of Realtors President Charles Neal, FAR District 5 RPAC Trustee Liz Paul, Bonita Springs Estero Association of Realtors President Joe Pavich, FAR District 5 Vice President Gerry Rosenblum and Realtor Association of Greater Ft. Myers & The Beach President Suzanne Sherer.
This annual event gives the Association of Realtors the opportunity to honor those individuals who deserve special recognition for their outstanding achievements and service to the organization and to the community. These awards and the recipients include:
Realtor of the Year: Diane Stocks (VIP Realty Group)
Community Service Award: Ada Shissler (VIP Realty Group)
Support Persons of the Year: Diane Barr (VIP Realty Group) and Linda Kurowski (Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors)
Affiliate of the Year: Nanci Berlin (Barrier Island Title Service).
Twenty Realtors received Honor Society Awards in recognition of their community service activities and professionalism through education, participation and service.
