Florida Rep partners with NOISE, Inc.
Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce its partnership with the Sanibel-based marketing and branding firm NOISE, Inc. for its annual fund raising event, “The Art of Bond.”
The March 28 event, held at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in the Fort Myers River District, features a Bond theme that NOISE has been instrumental in creating in both print and web based media.
“NOISE’s work for us has always been remarkably creative, and is consistently interesting and effective,” said Producing Artistic Director Robert Cacioppo. “Our collaborations have always been very positive, and I know the NOISE team is excited to sink their teeth into ‘The Art of Bond.’ It is their kind of project.”
The event will draw on the artistry and iconic style of the 22 Bond films, and NOISE’s campaign achieves that same goal. The printed media NOISE has produced for the event draws its inspiration from the films, and brings that style together on place, creating an effective and iconic direct mail piece that concentrates the Bond theme in your mailbox.
NOISE’s next piece of print media is an invitation that will brief prospective attendees of their secret mission to support the arts, and will be unveiled with the release of the Rep’s next quarterly newsletter – Repartee – in the form of a full page insert.
Florida Rep’s relationship with NOISE began in 2007 when the firm lent its creative genius to a number of award-winning direct mail campaigns. Since then the relationship has blossomed, and with Florida Rep’s 10th Anniversary, NOISE unveiled a fully redesigned and interactive website for the Rep, www.floridarep.org.
In addition to the work they have done in branding the Bond event, Florida Rep’s 11th season, “A New Decade of Professional Theatre,” marked the culmination of the NOISE partnership with print and Web-based advertising as well as two successful television campaigns. Audiences should recognize the Rep’s 11th Season branding campaign featuring some very evocative and dramatic imagery, cheeky catchphrases and a uniquely tailored billboard style. The 11th season’s theme draws its inspiration from the Arcade Theatre, celebrating its centennial anniversary, and is centered around the Arcade marquee, an art deco fixture on First Street in the River District.
“As James Bond is one of my personal all-time favorite movie characters, I’m thrilled to be able to provide our agency’s pro bono services to this extremely cool event,” said John Sprecher, Chief Creative Officer of NOISE. “Much the same, as Florida Rep is my all-time personal favorite Southwest Florida arts organization, we’re equally excited to contribute to the cause. It’s like a double secret whammy win-win.”
“The Art of Bond,” featuring NOISE’s innovative branding, will allow guests to interpret and enjoy the exciting world of Agent 007 like never before, and they are encouraged to embrace the theme and arrive in costume, whether as Bond himself, one of the many unforgettable and beguiling Bond Girls or as one of his magnificently malevolent enemies.
“The Art of Bond” will be held on Saturday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in the Fort Myers River District, adjacent to the Arcade Theatre. A table for 10 at the event is $1,500 and $150 for individuals. Tables and tickets are on sale now through the Florida Rep box office at 239-332-4488.
