Local student club gives back

The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club reported that the new Cypress Lake High School Interact Club adopted three families in partnership with FISH of Sanibel-Captiva’s holiday drive. Interact Clubs are sponsored by Rotary and bring together youths ages 12-18 to help develop leadership skills, while discovering the power of “Service Above Self.” The name “Interact” blends the words “international” and “action,” reflecting the club’s mission to inspire students to take meaningful action both locally and internationally. The Cypress Lake club is funded by the Sanibel-Captiva Rotary, along with a sister club at The Sanibel School. It has grown to over 10 student members and is still looking for new ones.
