LOVE SANIBEL BACK

Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church hosted the Love Sanibel Community Gathering on Nov. 2 at The Community House on Sanibel. Island spirit was on full display as hundreds of residents and visitors came together to celebrate community, generosity and the season ahead. The event featured a performance by The Sanibel School’s Seahorse Chorale, food from sponsors A Bit of Bailey’s and Pinocchio’s Original Italian Ice Cream, and a showcase of 30 nonprofit booths representing the breadth of service and care across Sanibel and Captiva. Attendees lined up for a photo booth, created keepsakes at the crafts station, and cheered as emcees awarded door prizes made possible by the generosity of local island businesses. The event was part of the broader Love Sanibel Back initiative started by the church, which supports island businesses and nonprofits and strengthens the connections on the islands.
