Audubon, SCCF to host bird walk
SANIBEL-CAPTIVA CONSERVATION FOUNDATION
The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) and Sanibel-Captiva Audubon Society will host a bird walk on Nov. 10 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Bunche Beach, at 18201 John Morris Road, Fort Myers. Participants will get to see and learn about the various shorebirds, wading birds, song birds and other avian species that call Southwest Florida home either year-round or in fall and winter. Tickets are $5 for SCCF members and $10 for non-members. The proceeds will benefit the SCCF’s shorebird monitoring program.
