SPD: Traffic delay due to vehicle fire
At about 10:30 a.m. today, March 27, the Sanibel Police Department (SPD) reported that motorists will experience delays near the Bowman’s Beach Road and Sanibel-Captiva Road intersection due to a vehicle fire. The SPD and Sanibel Fire and Rescue District are on scene. One lane is currently open on San-Cap Road, with flaggers directing traffic.
