UPDATE: At about 1 p.m. today, March 13, the SPD reported that the disabled truck has been removed. Both traffic lanes are now open. Normal seasonal traffic volume is expected this afternoon.

SPD: Disabled truck impeding traffic

At about 11:15 a.m. today, March 13, the Sanibel Police Department (SPD) reported that a disabled truck is impeding traffic at the entrance to the Span C bridge of the Sanibel Causeway on the island. A tow truck is en route, and the SPD is flagging traffic. Motorists should expect delays both exiting and entering the island.
