Rotary Club hosting March Madness Fundraiser
The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club is hosting a March Madness Fundraiser to benefit its Rotary Club Trust, which provides grants to non-profit organizations in the island community and beyond.
Participants can purchase a “bracket,” which is an entry to select teams for each tournament. Brackets are available for the men’s and women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament, with up to 10 brackets available per tournament. The winner of the closest bracket for each of the tournaments will receive a check, plus an additional check will be donated in their name to a non-profit of their choice.
Participants do not need to be a Rotary member to enter or donate.
Participation is open to ages 21 and older.
The deadline to enter is March 20 at noon for the men’s tournament and March 21 at 11:30 a.m. for the women’s tournament.
The winners will be announced at the club’s meeting on April 11.
