Junonia found on Sanibel

Carter Hazen, of Midland, Michigan, found a junonia on March 7 in front of the family’s condo on West Gulf Drive on Sanibel. He was with his father and sister when he made the big discovery. Hazen was visiting the island for spring break from Michigan State University. Thirty-nine years ago, his father found a junonia while visiting Sanibel and his photo was also published in the Islander-Reporter.
