UPDATE: Inclement weather cancels water classes

UPDATE: The city of Sanibel reported that based on the Sanibel Recreation Center’s inclement weather policy, all pools will be closed today, Jan. 22, due to unseasonably cold air temperatures. This includes the cancellation of water aerobics class and the SWAT program.

The city of Sanibel reported that based on the Sanibel Recreation Center’s inclement weather policy, all Water Aerobics classes scheduled for today, Jan. 21, and Jan. 22 will be canceled due to unseasonably cold air temperatures. The lap pool will be open for swimming from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. as regularly scheduled. The Sanibel Recreation Center is at 3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel.
