BIG ARTS continues series, seeks moderators
BIG ARTS on Sanibel is continuing its Monday Night Film Series through April.
Taking place on Mondays at 7 p.m. in the Christensen Performance Hall, it features a curated selection of award-winning films and documentaries across genres, offering a variety of cinematic experiences.
Upcoming films include “Anora” (2024) on Jan. 27, along with “Nickel Boys” (2024) and “A Real Pain” (2024) in February and “Will & Harper” (2024) and “Taking Venice” (2023) in April.
Following each screening, attendees can participate in a post-screening discussion, where a moderator will lead a conversation based on pre-selected questions. The discussions provide an opportunity to delve deeper into the film’s themes, share insights and connect with other movie lovers.
BIG ARTS is seeking new moderators. They should have a passion for film and enjoy guiding discussions that encourage diverse perspectives. The discussions typically attract a group of 20-30.
Before and after each screening, a cash bar will be open, with popcorn available.
