City consultant presents concept for intersection
In the spring, the city of Sanibel contracted with Kimley-Horn to analyze traffic flow through the Periwinkle Way and Causeway Boulevard intersection and make recommendations for improvement.
The city reported that after analyzing traffic data, adjusting for peak seasonal traffic over a three-year period, and soliciting community feedback through public workshops and surveys, the consultant team recently presented its conceptual recommendation.

The consultant will present its conceptual recommendation to the Sanibel Planning Commission in November, followed by the Sanibel City Council in December.
