Junonia found on Sanibel

Ashley Skinner, of Sanibel, found a junonia on Oct. 11 near Beach Access 1 off West Gulf Drive on Sanibel. She reported that she has been shelling for years and found a ton of amazing ones after Hurricane Ian. “I’d bike to the beaches and have the whole beach to myself since they were all closed to the public for months.
