WM suspends service on Sanibel
At about 11:30 a.m. today, Sept. 27, Waste Management (WM) of Fort Myers reported that it has resumed residential collection in Lee County in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
Thursday residential routes will be collected on Friday, and Friday routes on Saturday.
Fort Myers Beach customers will receive service on Sept. 28.
Due to flooding, collection on Sanibel has been suspended and will resume on Sept. 30.
Storm debris and storm-impacted bulk items should be placed curbside separate from regular trash.
