Junonia found on Cayo Costa

Evan duPont, of Sanibel, found a junonia on July 27 while shelling on Cayo Costa State Park. Calli Johnson reported that it was his first one and duPont feels very lucky because he just became a serious sheller. “The spot we found, it had been washed out by Hurricane Debby since, so it would have been swept away if he hadn’t picked it up!” she added.
