The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reported that the recreational harvest of gray triggerfish and greater amberjack in Gulf of Mexico state and federal waters closed on June 1.

It will remain closed through July 31.

The FWC noted that seasonal closures help conserve Florida’s fisheries for the future.
