Lighthouse Beach lots to open for weekend

The city of Sanibel reported that crews have nearly completed the beach restoration at the Lighthouse Beach Park and the parking lots will be temporarily reopened to the public on April 27-28. Beginning on April 29, the lots will close again for contractors to continue sand placement. The work is expected to be completed by May 1.
