Members of the Sanibel City Council and City Manager Dana Souza recently met with state legislators in Tallahassee to discuss the city’s 2024 legislative priorities. In addition, Sanibel Fire and Rescue District Fire Chief Kevin Barbot and Deputy Fire Chief John DiMaria recently visited the state Capitol to advocate and secure funding for new Fire Station 172 on Sanibel-Captiva Road.
