Cartoon contest winners announced

The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge reported that more than 100 student entries were submitted for this year’s “Ding” Darling Conservation Cartoon Contest in honor of Pulitzer-winning cartoonist Jay Norwood “Ding” Darling. J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge staff judged entries from 10 schools and awarded winners at an ceremony on Oct. 21 during Art in the Wild.
