Rotary donates to Maui relief fund
The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club donated $10,000 to the Maui Fire Relief Fund, which was established through the Hawai’i Rotary’s District 5000 Foundation. At a recent meeting, members committed over $8,000 during a “Happy Bucks” appeal and the club’s Trust Fund rounded up the donation. The Hawai’i Rotarians will distribute the funds to those impacted by the wildfires to provide immediate relief and to support long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts.
