Kiwanis holds meeting with speaker

The Sanibel-Captiva Kiwanis Club welcomed Capt. Brian Holaway, of Captain Brian on the Water, as its guest speaker at its recent meeting. His talked about the damage and recovery of the outer islands and unique ecosystem from Hurricane Ian, including the increasing presence of shorebirds, resurgence in turtle nesting and rapid regrowth of flora.
