Island students learn about sea turtles

Kindergarteners at The Sanibel School recently learned about sea turtles with Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation environmental educator Richard Finkel. The students discussed what life would be like as a sea turtle and explored ways that they can help nesting females, such as filling in holes in the sand and keeping beaches free of artificial light.
