The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge reported that the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge’s Wildlife on Wheels is wowing students at Title I Sunshine Elementary in Lehigh Acres during its four-week stay. From there, it lands at Lehigh Senior High on April 24-28.

The public can experience the WoW for free on April 22 to celebrate “Ding” Darling Day and Earth Day at Lakes Park in Fort Myers.

The WoW currently operates with a reduced team because of the hurricane’s impact on staffing.
