CCP to host hurricane debriefing with speakers
The Captiva Community Panel will host a Hurricane Ian Debriefing on April 10 starting at 7 p.m. at the Captiva Civic Center, at 11550 Chapin Lane, Captiva.
It will focus on the details and timeline of the hurricane, looking at what happened, what worked and what needs to be done before the next storm.
The speakers will be CCP Panel Member and Captiva Erosion Prevention District Commissioner Linda Laird, CEPD Executive Director Daniel Munt, Captiva Island Fire Control District Fire Chief Jeff Pawul, and Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation Coastal Resilience Manager Dr. Carrie Schuman.
