The American Legion Post 123, at 4929 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel, presents the following:
– Sept. 14: General meeting at 6 p.m.
– Sept. 18: Southern fried chicken from noon to 7 p.m.
Food is served from noon to 8 p.m., with steak/cheesesteak sandwiches on Fridays and tacos on Tuesdays. There are also daily specials and half-pound burgers.
Nine-ball casual play on Mondays at 6 p.m.; two pool tables are available for use.
The new American Legion eligibility date is Nov. 11, 1918, through today’s current date. All veterans are welcome to become a member. For more information, contact Tim or Randy at 239-472-9979.
American flags that need to be retired can be dropped off.
Open to the public, hours are noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The Legion includes a “no smoking” facility.
