Junonia found on Captiva

Krista and Matt Couser, of St. Paris, Ohio, and their children, Logan Couser, 7, and Raegan Couser, 5, found a junonia on the morning of July 25 at Turner Beach on Captiva. Krista Couser reported that her family found the shell during their third annual vacation to the islands. It was their first time finding a junonia. Couser added that, “Needless to say, it was our lucky day! I think my exact words were ‘Holy shit!’ when we dug it up from the ocean bottom!”
