Island Seniors at the Sanibel Recreation Center, at 3380 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel, will present the following:
LEISURE LUNCHERS
Leisure Lunchers will meet on Aug. 16 at 11:30 a.m. at The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club, at 949 Sand Castle Road, Sanibel. Order and pay individually. Registration required by Aug. 2. MOONLIGHT KAYAK PADDLE
A Moonlight Kayak Paddle will be held on Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. Paddle the water of the San Carlos Bay off Sanibel under a full moon; participants may get a glimpse of the effects of bioluminescence. Cost is $5 for members and $20 for non-members; space is limited. Sign up in-person at the center and pay by Aug. 2. Trip will be subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or required sign up minimum. Call Jessica Gonnelly or Dave DeFonzo at the center for details.
