Bank to serve as sponsor

Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands is a corporate sponsor for the 2022 Florida Python Challenge, set for Aug. 5-14. Organized by the Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and South Florida Water Management District, it encourages participants to remove as many invasive Burmese pythons from designated Florida public lands as possible and reminds the public that releasing pythons into the wild can have consequences for native wildlife in the Everglades and area ecosystems.
