2-for-1 Diner’s Delight books to go on sale
The Sanibel-Captiva Kiwanis Club announced that the 2022 Diner’s Delight coupon books will go on sale on March 15. Valid from May 1 through Dec. 16, it contains two-for-one coupons valid at many island eateries, for a possible savings of over $500. The books are available for a $40 contribution. The club noted that advance orders have already claimed many of them, so those interested should plan to get their books soon. Participating eateries include the Blue Giraffe, Boops By The Bubble Room and Bubble Room, Cantina Captiva, Cielo, Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille on Sanibel and Captiva, Island Cow, Jerry’s Cafe, Joey’s Custard, MudBugs Cajun Kitchen, Normandie Seaside Cafe, Old Captiva House, Sanddollar Kitchen & Bar, Sanibel Deli, Sanibel Sprout, Sanibel’s Best Homemade Ice Cream and Bakery/Coffee Shop, Subway, Sunset Grill Restaurant, Sunshine Seafood Cafe and Wine Bar, The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club, The Lazy Flamingo on Sanibel and Santiva, Thistle Lodge Beachfront Restaurant, Timbers Restaurant & Fish Market, and Tipsy Turtle Restaurant & Bar. The books can be obtained from Kiwanis members or at Bailey’s General Store, Bank of the Islands, Big Red Q Printing, Island Pharmacy, Island Winds Coiffures, Periwinkle Park office, SanCap Pak-N-Ship, and Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. Proceeds from the fundraiser are used by the club to support its Scholarship Fund for local students and grants to island youth recreation and education programs.
